this is all great i have seen a bunch of these movies but the thing is they never give an alternative system to the present day one and how it will benefit us. Its great to tell everyone that the current sysytem is crap but tell us what kind of new system we can put in its place

The US Constitution clearly empowers Congress to collect taxes. See Article I, Sec. 8 that says "The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes..."
The 16th Amendment issue is a red herring and does not address the issue of the power of Congress to tax. It is a red-herring because it deals the difference between direct and indirect taxes mentioned in Article I, sec 9 as well as court interpretations of said Article.

Think about it. The simplest answer is usually the best. No government would exist without the ability to tax. This government has made a system of taxation. You might disagree with it, but it is still the law.
If you want change, lobby congress or get a grassroots movement. But casting a blind eye to the law is not only naive, but could get you thrown in jail.

Again, Andrew of devonshire,you need to pay attention to the freaking documentary when you press play,the only taxes that pay for schools,social programs and the like are STATE taxes.Federal income tax is illegal,contrived by the central banks and only pays for the interest accumulated on the national debt whitch is mathamaticaly impossible to pay off and yes money deos come from thin air....or should i say central banks,watch the documtenary zeitgeist:addendum.

Alisha Gilliam,if you actually watched the movie b4 jumping to that conclusion then you would note that all the federal income tax deos is pay the interest on the contrived national debt caused by the central banks and only state taxes go towards schools,roads,social programs,and other infrastructure.

The united state gov should make this a tax rule to avoid any other questions. We as America people should feel obligated to pay taxes. How can you come to America and make tons of money and not share the wealth with the land that you gain it from. How dare you high power people start this bogist complaint. America is the best country to live in, We are the only country that has laws that helps the people and not destroy the people. Taxes are need for so may reasons and we as the people have to make sure that our country pay there dues. Without taxes people would be subject to a goverment that is unstable and if the govement is unstable then the people will be unstable. America is a smart country to have a systematic gov under control, so dont throw a monkey wrench in the way. These taxes has made Ameria what it is today and without taxes Ameria would be a greedy country and the poor will die!!! Americans are prilvilge to have such a nice clean country with clean water, clean streets and free help if needed,. Therefore there is nothing wrong with paying taxes. Wake up America, we should be examining the people in power!!!However, what should be in questioning is the Supereme court laws on gun control, Crooked Police Officers and Education in which our taxes pay. These are the programs that America should be concerned and upgrade.
