Scratch (2001)

"A feature-length documentary film about hip-hop DJing, otherwise known as turntablism. From the South Bronx in the 1970s to San Francisco now, the world's best scratchers, beat-diggers, party-rockers, and producers wax poetic on beats, breaks, battles, and the infinite possibilities of vinyl." -imdb.com

wow, this is very indepth about the history of scratching. Heard most of the DJs on the film. I didn't know it was so freestyle and a form of music on its own. Wish I had known that when I diddled in scratching and DJing. It really is free form the way these DJs bring it.
